I have been using Shimano products for a long time. I have multiple brands of rods and reels but Shimano does make some of the best equipment that is built to last. Case in point, my old school green Curados are still kickin' it after fifteen years of hardcore bass fishing. I just paired one of my green reels with a brand new Shimano Cumara spinnerbait rod. I'm a big fan of the last Cumara rod, so it will be interesting to compare the two.
