Bassmaster ROY endorses Taylor Man’s Custom Lures

Reidsville, NCToday Bassmaster Elite Series Rookie of the Year Bradley Roy contracted to endorse Taylor Man’s Custom Lures line of premium, US-made custom lures.

“Impressed by the number of custom colors they offered, I bought a bunch of their baits at the 2010 Bassmaster Classic Expo to try,” said Roy. “Those natural patterns turned out to be an important factor on the tour. Even fishing used water, I got bites from fish other anglers were missing.”

Roy is also a big fan of Taylor Man’s quality components. “I rarely if ever lose a fish since switching to Taylor Man’s. They’re as fanatical about hooks as I am…Gamakatsu all the way. Since going pro, I’ve become convinced how important it is to stick with the best hooks all the time. People would be amazed at how often pros change crankbait hooks. You can’t do that with jigs and spinnerbaits, so it pays to go top of the line.”

“I’m not the only pro clued into Taylor Man’s, either. I know several big name guys threw Taylor Man’s on the Elite Series in 2010.”

Based in Reidsville, North Carolina, Taylor Man’s Custom Lures has gained a dedicated following in the Tar Heel State and hopes to leverage Roy’s “next generation” appeal to grow its brand and drive online sales. “What Bradley accomplished at age 19 was truly remarkable. My son, Taylor, and I were pulling hard for him. We are so proud that our baits helped him win Rookie of the Year last year and that he offered us his endorsement,” said James Huskey, President of Taylor Man’s.

Taylor Man’s Custom Lures (www.tmclures.com) began operations in 2008. Each premium US-made lure is hand painted and then individually assembled and inspected before earning the Taylor Man’s brand.

At 19, Bradley Roy was the youngest competitor ever on the Bassmaster Elite Series and was crowned the 2010 Elite Series Rookie of the Year. Fans can follow him off the water through the video series Bradley Roy’s Reel Life, which airs regularly on Bassmaster.com. Bradley’s blog and a link to his Facebook page are at www.BradleyRoy.com.
