The Moccasin Jig by Atomic Tackle Company - VIDEO REVIEW

When I first heard about this brand new item from Atomic Tackle Company. I wasn't sure what to think.  I saw pictures of it, talked with Sam Sagaser who is on the Atomic Tackle Pro-Staff and even then I still didn't know what to make of it.  When I finally saw them with my own eyes in my hands it made sense.

The Moccasin jig is really different from anything else around.  It's a twist on a finesse jig head which I believe adds a different action underwater.  I tested it for a few weeks and caught fish using the Moccasin with a variety of soft plastics. I found that the bait had a slight shimmy as it fell due to the head design.

Atomic Tackle Company Contest Starts Now!

As I mentioned a few days ago, there is a new contest coming up. It's actually starting right now!

Thanks to our friends at Atomic Tackle Company, we are giving away the hottest lure to hit the market in the last few years; the castable umbrella rig.

Atomic makes their own version and calls it the Agitator.  I have tried a bunch of different ones and this is the one I choose. For the contest, I am giving away a five wire version in painted silver.  The head weighs 3/8oz.  Interested?

First, go to AtomicTackleCompany.com and check out their store.  Once you do that, post a comment here or on my Facebook with the name of another product they make.

If someone already chose that item, you can change it to be more specific.  For example, if someone says Spinnerbait, you can enter by saying: "Spinnerbait in Old Glory color".

The winner will be selected randomly (from random.org) on Monday morning.  The contest runs until Sunday at midnight (Eastern Time).

Atomic Tackle Company Contest Coming Soon

I recently found out about a company called Atomic Tackle Company from fellow blogger Chris McDonald.  I first started using their castable umbrella rig, "The Agitator" and was really impressed.

After looking at all the products I am excited to use the rest of the products and have some reviews planned as well as a contest for everyone to enter for your chance to try the baits for yourself.
