Being that ICAST is this week, there are many "new" things on the market. Many of them are just a slight revision to an existing product with shiny new packaging and hype to go along with it. One thing that genuinely has me intrigued is a new product from Zappu called the Abare Dama or "Wicked Ball".

Any guesses? This innovation is designed to give your hardbaits an extra action. It's supposed to "kick" out your baits at unpredictable times. It may be just different enough to get a few extra bites. You can read more about it here.

I wonder if running these on the front of some baits may get them a little deeper....
