Tanya and I have been discussing the use of braid quite a bit lately. I think the fish see it in clear water and it makes it harder to catch them, she uses braided almost exclusively and still catches fish. There is an interesting article on Wired2Fish about Kelly Jordan and how he uses braid for bed fishing. What do you think about braid in clear water?

If braid is pretty much all you have on your reels than you kind of have to use it.
I don't do to much sight fishing to begin with.
Up here in MN the window of time when big female fish are on beds is pretty small.
