The new rods from St. Croix and Shimano caught my attention. The new St. Croix Rage series was really pretty cool. It had the great lightweight feel you would recognize if you own any of their rods, but it also had a smooth grip. It was interesting looking and felt good in my hands.
Shimano also had some new rods and they all look like the popular Cumara and Cumulus lineup. Sleek, split grip EVA foam and all black. The Compre and Clarus have had a major makeover and both looked and felt great.
