BFL weigh-in action will be coming to a monitor near you in
2011. Now you can show your friends and family that incredible catch you landed
no matter where you weighed in the fish.
The Walmart Bass Fishing League will host 128 tournaments in
2011, and each weigh-in will be videotaped, uploaded to FLWOutdoors.com’s
on-demand video stable the following week and then archived there. As always, a
full “FLW Outdoors” TV show will be devoted to the long-running All-American
championship and then added to the BFL on-demand area after being televised.
The BFL is the foundation of FLW Outdoors, having provided
affordable, close-to-home tournaments for weekend bass anglers since the
founding of the tournament-fishing organization. The league comprises 24
divisions across the country, each supporting five weekend tournaments
throughout the season, giving thousands of anglers a chance to compete and advance
to regional competition and ultimately the All-American or even the prestigious
Forrest Wood Cup, where the best in bass fishing compete for incredible cash
prizes. Successful BFL anglers can also graduate to competition in other
professional bass-fishing circuits like the EverStart Series and Walmart FLW
Tour.
If you are interested in registering for a tournament, where
you can fish in your own boat as a boater or from the back deck of a fellow
contestant’s boat as a co-angler, check the 2011 BFL schedule to find the
events that interest you and then register online or by calling FLW Outdoors
customer service at (270) 252-1000.
