I work full time like the rest of you guys out there, but I am lucky enough to get to fish on my lunch break. I have a few canals only 5 minutes from my work that I fish almost daily on my lunch break. Today I tried a new area on the canals and was shocked to see 3 pairs of bedding bass. I was shocked because this is Florida and the bass have been spawning since December. That's like bedding fish "up north" in August. I immediately lost a 4 pounder on the first bed. It was really windy so I didn't see she had my bait. Then I went to the next bed and caught this 3 pounder on a texas-rigged creature bait with a tungsten weight. I love it here in Florida!!

Fishing on my lunch break
