An 18.11 pound bass? Are you serious?

On March 20th, Kyle Gentry of California hooked and landed an 18.11 pound bass on New Melones Lake (a lake I fished in the past but couldn't catch a fish over two pounds on).  While this monster was a catch of a lifetime, the best part was that he caught it during a tournament!  It is believed to be the biggest bass ever weighed in during any organized fishing tournament from the pros all the way down to a club tournament.  It was such a great catch that the local news station KRCA did a story on his catch.  You can see the video here.  Watch the video, I think the best part of it is at the end when the newscaster talks about what bait he was using.  Congrats Kyle!
