The View from Above

We're flying to Vegas as I type this. Gotta love the free trial Wi-Fi from Delta. We're headed to visit family back home in Vegas and I am anticipating seeing the view of Lake Mead as we approach Las Vegas. It's amazing how much you can see from up here. The water is crystal clear and the deep humps, reefs and other offshore structure stand out perfectly. It's also pretty cool to see all of the different terrain surrounding this monstrous lake. It's my favorite part of the flight and I always make sure to have a window seat.

I know that some professional bass fisherman have used flying over as a way of scouting new lakes and looking for new areas to fish on lakes. It makes sense, the view from above is pretty good.
