"Micro Guides" are the latest rage in rod building. I think they are a great idea and they will be something that everyone will offer soon.Kistler is one of the first major rod companies to utilize them. Boyd Duckett's new rod brand will also offer them. Those who use them claim they are:
- Lighter weight
- Transmit more vibration
- Cause less tangles or damages!
- Make longer casts
- Have fewer backlashes
- Reduce rod breakage

How do these micro guides handle ice build-up?
That's a good question. I assume it would be more difficult to get the ice out of these micro guides. Maybe someone out there has an answer.
