Today was the second day of practice for the Bassmaster Classic on Lay Lake in Alabama. I have been reading some reports and articles on bassmaster.com. The reports have been of cold water temps and tough fishing. Alton Jones is blogging about his preparation and thinks it's gonna be a cold, slow bite. The Bassmaster article has reports of some anglers getting zero bites during practice. I wonder, how much of this is true? Are some guys just the pros sandbagging, acting like they aren't on any fish? Saying you haven't caught any will definitely keep people away from your fishing spots. I can't wait for Day 1 to start!
