I spent some time this weekend fishing in my backyard canal. I
decided yesterday that I wanted to gain some more confidence in
swimbaits, so that's all I used. I was throwing a California Swim Babes Baby E and Tiny E. These are bigger baits, but they aren't huge and they can be used on regular tackle.
I didn't catch alot of fish, but the ones I
did catch were all bigger fish. I caught five fish and they all
weighed between 3-5lbs. This is much different from my usual results
with large numbers of fish, but only a few bigger than two or three pounds. As
they always say, "bigger baits for bigger fish". I now have confidence in these baits and hope to use them at Lake Seminole this
week.
