No...iMotion isn't the latest Apple creation, this is for bass fishing. The
Japanese bass fishing market has always been one step ahead of the U.S.
market, always innovating and coming up with new ways to catch bass.
Some of the things that come to mind immediately are the finesse
techniques like drop-shotting, the neko rig, and the jig head wacky
(flick shake). Now we have another one hitting our shores, the iMotion concept. Basically it is a technique that does nothing. Bassfan.com just did a nice review of the topic and showcased some new baits from Jackall Lures that are coming out to utilize this new idea.

Basically this technique is about the action we put into our baits....or lack of action in this case. We are always ripping, jerking, twitching and so on, but this technique is about natural movement. A healthy baitfish, or prey item just moving along at normal speed. It is the hottest thing in Japan right now for pressured fish that have seen every action our baits make. It's a new idea and has the potential to change how we fish for bass in certain situations. I think of this as another trick up my sleeve and I'm looking forward to putting it into action.

This one will really have to be good for me to try it.
I recently bought some of the Seira Minnows, and they definitely do work.
