Sebile has quite a streak of new and unique lures in recent years. They have been winning awards like crazy at ICAST in the last few years, and most recently at the EFTTEX (European Fishing Tackle Trade Exhibition). The Magic Swimmer, the Flatt Shad, the Spin Shad...the list of unique lures goes on and on. Patrick Sebile, CEO, and lure designer seems to have the mind for creating great fishing lures. This year Sebile has three new products that will challenge for awards at the upcoming ICAST show; the Pro-Shad Spinnerbait, the Soft Weight System, and the D&S Crank DR a snagless and weedless crankbait. Angling International magazine says it will make "snagless fishing a new possibility. It gives super deep diving for casting or trolling." Living in Florida, I rarely use a deep diving crankbait, as the lakes are just too shallow, but there are certain rivers and canals that have deeper water and fish waiting to eat a crankbait. I think the idea is unique and will win this years Best New Hardbait at ICAST.
UPDATE: I just learned that the D&S will first be sold in Europe in 2011, with plans for a U.S. release at a later date. I guess we will have to wait until next year.
