I spent the last day of practice for the Bassmaster Elite Series event on Okeechobee with rookie Fletcher Shryock. I went out as a media observer and was able to get some great photos and videos as the day unfolded. It was really cool to see how these guys approach a new body of water and how quickly they figure it out.
Fletcher ended up making the Day 3 cut and finished 39th. He was doing the same things the leaders are doing and flipping a jig. He is a really cool guy and has a big future in this sport.
Check out the video from the day.
