iRod Introduces Genesis Series

Agoura, Ca - With a foundation built on tournament angling; big bass specialist Matt Newman, an FLW Western pro himself announces the launch of a new series of fishing rods under the brand name iRod.

The new company brings to market a series of rods built to withstand the rigors of the pro tour, with features that bring to mind the passion and workmanship of high end Japanese construction, at a price point that is affordable for most every angler.

"iRod has the mindset of bridging the gap between the high cost of technology and affordability," stated Newman. "At a retail price of $149.99, iRod is affordable for any bass angler, but the quality and components of this rod will appeal to bass anglers at the highest levels.

Highlighting the 10 rod line up are the Bub Tosh Punching rod, the Fred Roumbanis Magic Stick and power-finesse spinning rod, the Gabe Bolivar reaction rod and three models of Swimbait Rods designed by iRod President Newman.

The lineup of rods also includes three general purpose rods; a 7' medium heavy that is perfect for ripping or light jigging. The 7' heavy rod is a superior jig or pitching rod and an excellent choice for Carolina rigging. Finally, the 7'4" mag-medium rod is a super versatile rod designed for everything from topwater to spinnerbaits.

iRod Fishing is happy to announce that they have begun shipping their line of bass rods to tackle stores around the country.
